The BORING ''privacy policy''

Every single website you visit must, by law, feature a privacy policy to detail exactly how it uses your personal data. On the most part, these policies are long, boring and use confusing/vague language to get their message across.
This is EXACTLY why we all need to get better at understanding them as they are hiding their tricks in plain sight! 👀
If you are so inclined to dig deeper, we strongly recommend this fantastic article on how to take back some control but if time is short, here are some quick tips to improve your data privacy when visiting any website.
👉 Install the browser extension Terms of Service, Didn't Read. It gives you a quick rating of the terms of a particular website. Green = Good, Red = Bad
👉 Install the perfect set of extra browser extensions to limit data collection. Our Linux Laptops include Ublock, Cookie Autodelete, Privacy Badger for starters
👉 Use a web browser that blocks trackers. Our Linux lappys use 🐺 Librewolf, our Degoogled phones use Ironfox.
👉 A tiny percentage of you will take this next step but reading and understanding the important parts of a privacy policy is essential in taking back your data.
